VATL: Today we’d like to introduce you to Kellan Spears.
Hi Kellan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I was around 5, my dad asked if I wanted to go watch a dirt go kart race? From a really young age, I already loved Matchbox and other cars but now the love for racing has been sparked! Much like my grandfather, Ed Moore, who was an avid race fan and SCCA racer. Not long after attending the kart race, we found a marketplace race ready kart to get started. After my parents decided I was really interested, we purchased a new kart and finished 4th in my first series, not terrible for my first time! After 6-7 years and multiple dirt oval placements and three championships later, I tried an asphalt road course kart.
